The Commanders and the Eagles will face each other for the third time this season in Sunday’s NFC Championship game in Philadelphia. In the regular season, each team won on its home field. Washington quarterback Jayden Daniels says he expects the Eagles defense to throw a few new looks at him….

Kick off between Philadelphia and Washington is at 2 PM. The AFC Championship game will follow at 5:30. The winners of the title games will face off in Super Bowl 59 in New Orleans on February 9th.

The Raiders have hired the 73-year-old Pete Carroll as their new head football coach. That leaves Dallas and New Orleans as the only two franchises with head coaching vacancies. This means if the Saints want former Cowboys Coach Mike McCarthy they will not have any competition.

The LSU baseball team began full squad work outs today. Baseball America has ranked the Tigers newcomer class of transfers and freshmen signees as the best in the nation in 2025. Freshman right hander William Schmidt is the crown jewel of the freshmen class. The Baton Rouge native took his name out of MLB draft consideration to attend LSU, even though he was set to be a first round pick. Coach Jay Johnson says Schmidt could be a weekend starter this year….

Cut 30 (16) “…wants to be”

The LSU men’s basketball team will face a really good basketball team tomorrow night as they visit fourth ranked Alabama. The Crimson Tide are 16-and-3 on the season.

La Tech goes after its seventh straight home win when it takes on Middle Tennessee at 5:30 tomorrow.
