Freshman Ahmad Breaux is starting on LSU’s defensive line after spending last year as a defensive end for Ruston High School. Breaux helped the Bearcats win a state championship and then he added 35 pounds of muscle so that he can play defensive tackle for the Tigers. LSU gymnastics received a huge commitment today as US Olympic gold medalist Hezly Rivera committed to the Tigers. The 16-year-old Rivera visited LSU this past weekend and announced her college decision today. Rivera was not selected to compete during the Team final, but she did compete on bean and uneven bars. Rivera will not graduate high school until 2026, so it will be awhile before she competes for LSU.
