The Pelicans will close out their four game road trip tonight as they will visit the San Antonio Spurs. New Orleans dropped the first two games of the trip, but they won on Wednesday in Houston and they have a good chance at getting another win today at San Antonio. The Spurs have the worst record in the Western Conference.

The LSU Tigers will look to snap a three-game losing streak when they host Houston at 11 AM on Saturday. The Tigers have not played since losing to Alabama last Saturday. Coach Matt McMahon on what the squad has been working on…

Arkansas is 11-10, 2-6 in the SEC and have struggled on the offensive end of the court. LSU is 11-9, 3-4 in the SEC.

In the SWAC…Southern and Grambling are tied for first place. The Jaguars are at Alcorn State while the Tigers host Jackson State.

Louisiana Tech won its sixth straight last night an easy 93-53 win over F-I-U. The Bulldogs do not play again until Wednesday night when they host Western Kentucky. The Hilltoppers are 3-and-4 in league play.

Tomorrow, the Ragin Cajuns go after their seventh victory in a row as U-L Lafayette hosts South Alabama. The Jaguars are having a bad season at 10-and-12.

U-L-M who is 7-and-13 is at Arkansas State tomorrow. The Red Wolves are 5-and-5.

Southeastern Louisiana will look to pull off the upset on Saturday at 3:30 as they host McNeese. The Cowboys have won 14 in a row, which is the nation’s longest winning streak.

Also in the Southland on Saturday, Nicholls hosts Houston Christian and Northwestern State takes on Texas A-and-M Corpus Christi in Natchitoches.

LSU will compete against Arkansas in gymnastics tonight at the Maravich Center at 7:30. It’s a top-ten showdown as LSU is ranked fifth and Arkansas is 7th. Arkansas beat the Tigers in Fayetteville last year.
