LSU Coach Brian Kelly will reportedly promote Joe Sloan and Cortez Hankton to co-offensive coordinator. Hankton has been the passing game coordinator and receivers coach, while Sloan has been the quarterbacks coach. The duo served as co-offensive coordinators for the bowl game.

Sloan will primarily serve as offensive play caller. He deserves credit for developing Jayden Daniels.

The Heisman Trophy winner was named today as the winner of the 2023 Manning Award, which goes to the top quarterback in the nation. Daniels led the country with nearly five-thousand yards of total offense

Northwestern State’s three game losing streak ended last night with a 71-62 loss to Southeastern Louisiana. Nicholls won its third overtime game of the season last night as they defeated UIW 78-74.
