LSU basketball Coach Will Wade has landed his first major commitment for the 2019 recruiting class. Five star power forward Trenton Watford of Alabama has announced he plans on attending LSU and looks like a good replacement to Naz Reid, who is gearing up for the upcoming NBA draft. Watford is listed as the fourth best power forward in the country according to 24-7 sports.

LSU may have some work to do in the SEC Tournament if they want to win the NCAA Regional. The Tigers have an RPI of 21 and according to college baseball analyst Mark Etheridge, teams that have an RPI above 16 usually do not get to host. LSU faces South Carolina tomorrow night in the SEC Tournament and Cole Henry will start after missing about a month with an arm injury.
