Myles Brennan, Jaden Daniels, Garrett Nussmeier and Walker Howard will compete for starting quarterback when preseason camp begins in a couple of weeks. Kelly says the offensive line will need to come together the fastest in order for the Tigers to compete in the loaded SEC West.

LSU second baseman Cade Doughty was selected in the second round. Today, LSU reliever Eric Reyzelman was selected in the fifth round by the New York Yankees. The right-hander from California was 1-3 with a 4.04 ERA and three saves for the Tigers.
In the fourth round, Toronto took Louisiana Tech pitcher Ryan Jennings, who was five and one with a 3.59 ERA.
