The LSU men’s basketball team opened the season last night with a 62-point win over ULM as senior forward Darius Days scored 30 points and hit eight three-pointers.

Today the program announced it signed five-star forward Julian Phillips to a letter-of-intent. The six-foot-eight, 200-pounder from South Carolina is ranked as the 14th best player in the class of 2022.

Perfect Game has ranked baseball coach Jay Johnson’s first recruiting class at LSU as the best in the nation. The class features eleven Top 100 players.

Saturday night in Tiger Stadium, LSU hosts 25th ranked Arkansas. Tigers defensive coordinator Daronte Jones on the Razorbacks offense…..

McNeese is staying in the Southland Conference and it will result in the Lake Charles school hosting multiple conference championship tournaments between 2023 and 2026, including basketball, baseball and softball. McNeese considered jumping to the WAC, which is trying to become an FBS football conference. McNeese says while it’s staying in the Southland, it will still pursue becoming an FBS football institution in the future.
