The Pelicans have agreed to “mutually part ways” with GM Dell Demps after nearly a decade of wheeling and dealing in the New Orleans front office. Star Anthony Davis demanded a trade several weeks ago, a demand that was not met by the deadline last week, and he will play out the rest of the season as a Pelican.
