A 33-year-old Hot Springs Arkansas man was sentenced to 18 months in jail Tuesday after in July of 2022, he claimed he was planning to possibly perform a mass shooting at Natchez High School. Kenneth Allen Moody made the claims to the Vidalia Police Department while he was living in Vidalia. He said he had been planning the attack for months and but wanted to turn himself in. Police along with the FBI investigated and tracked Moody through his cell phone.
