LSU’s General Counsel told lawmakers why LSU employees had been banned from speaking under oath to a Legislative Committee today. Winston Decuir says it’s related to a lawsuit by a current LSU administrator. He says he learned of the lawsuit Wednesday and had not or seen who was named in it when the decision was made.
Lawmakers argued the ban will intimidate further whistleblowers from coming forward.
