The Moderna COVID vaccine has been endorsed by an independent panel of medical experts, clearing the way for it to receive emergency FDA approval. Governor Edwards indicated that we could begin vaccinating staff and residents of nursing homes with this Moderna vaccine as early as next week.
On his monthly talk show Governor Edwards said it’s past time everyone accepts President-elect Joe Biden won the November election. Edwards says it’s hard to justify holding out considering just earlier this week the Electoral College gave Biden 306 votes.

ExxonMobil is looking at investing 240-million dollars into its Baton Rouge refinery and a decision on whether to proceed would be made next year.
