Louisiana National Guardsmen participating in Operation Lone Star have arrived in Texas. LANG spokesperson Lt. Col Noel (No-elle) Collins says fifty soldiers begin their first of three 30-day rotations Friday at the southern border.

Governor Jeff Landry signed off on sending Louisiana guardsmen at the request of Texas Governor Greg Abbott.
