It’s a day many LSU basketball fans have been waiting for. Will Wade is returning to be the Tigers head coach again. Wade was the head coach at LSU from 2017 to 2022 and in those five seasons, the Tigers went to the NCAA Tournament three times.

Wade’s old boss at McNeese is also headed to LSU as Cowboys athletics director Heath Schroyer will be a Senior Deputy AD at LSU as of April 11th.  Jim Gazzolo, who covers McNeese athletics for the American Press, says what Schroyer did for McNeese is remarkable…

With Wade returning to LSU that means Matt McMahon is out of a job. McMahon went 60-and-70 in his four seasons at LSU and no NCAA Tournament appearances.

LSU is launching a four-year degree program in A-I this fall.

At the state capitol, lawmakers discussed a resolution to urge Congress to pass legislation requiring the U-S House of Representatives candidates to live in the congressional district they seek to represent. Houma Senator Mike Fesi didn’t feel right about passing the legislation…
