Former Louisiana State Police Superintendent Mike Edmonson, who’s under federal investigation, has been subpoenaed to testify at a hearing his week involving troopers who are appealing demotions and reprimands they received for taking a tax payer funded adventure to Vegas. Legal Analyst Tim Meche says ven if the troopers can prove that Edmondson signed off on the excursion, it might not be enough to reverse the disciplinary action taken against them.
The troopers claim to have text messages saved that show Edmonson was aware and permitting of the trip throughout the duration that they were gone.
