Good and bad news for the Tigers today in Amite as LSU locks down one Amite Warrior, four star athlete Devonta Lee, but failed to secure the second ranked defensive tackle in the nation, Ishmael Sopsher, who signed for Bama. It’s was a significant day for Amite High, a school that got significant airtime on from national press for both of it’s high profile stars. Lee thanked the Tangipahoa institution for putting him in the spotlight…

Elsewhere the Purple and gold locked down four star defensive back Maurice Hampton out of Memphis.

A now former Vermilion Parish deputy is out of a job and behind bars after an investigation by the special victims unit of state police.  State Police Sgt. Jared Sandifer says the investigation of 42-year-old Bryan Kibodeaux of Abbeville began in late January from a tip given to law enforcement.
