Mitstich, who runs Gourmet Butcher Block in Gretna with his wife, was summoned before the December 7thRams game by WWL’s Bob Delgiorno to bring the voice of football the frankenbird. A federal judge in Mississippi has ruled that an abortion ban after 15 weeks is unconstitutional. The ruling included a searing attack on the state’s bottom of the rankings performance when it comes to infant mortality and children’s health. That means a similar law passed in Louisiana this year will not go into effect anytime soon. Louisiana’s 15-week abortion ban only goes into effect if the federal court upholds the law in Mississippi. It’s unclear if the Mississippi governor will appeal the decision.
