From the Vatican, Pope Francis has formally made a declaration allowing Catholic Priests to bless couples in same-sex relationships or irregular relationships without blessing their union or relationship. Loyola Professor of Theology Tom Ryan says Pope Francis is a very pastoral Pope and the declaration released from the Vatican ends with what the Pope wants to convey.
