Saturday is Election Day and among the statewide races is the run-off for Treasurer. Republican John Fleming, says his combined experience as a family physician, business owner, former member of Congress, and tenure in the Trump administration make the better choice for the office. He says the role of the treasurer is to protect taxpayers’ money.

He says he’s the better choice because of his financial background and that he wants to put Louisiana residents first instead of businesses. Expect delays on I-10 over Whiskey Bay for the next few days. Road Work begins on the bridge deck today impacting the right lane that was closed in October after crews found extensive damage to the bridge deck while conducting other repair work.
