LSU’s quarterback situation is raising eyebrows as Noel Narcisse announces he’s transferring to another school, and it’s not just Noel who is on his way out, as Justin McMillan, who also went MIA at practice yesterday says he’s bailing on the Tigers as well. It’s a big shakeup for the Purple and Gold who are down to two QBs in OSU transfer Joe Burrow, and sophomore Miles Brennan. LSU’s season kicks off on September 2nd.

A Lafayette man has been cited with criminal mischief after allegedly crying wolf about his sinking boat. Authorities say Benjamin Becnel called in a false alarm Monday on the waters in Pointe Coupee Parish. Louisiana Wildlife and Fisheries Spokesperson Adam Einck says Becnel never explained why he did it.

Becnel could be facing a 500 dollar fine and some prison time.

Bossier Parish Sheriff’s Office spokesman, Lt. Bill Davis says 38-year-old Shandy Salgado was taken into custody attacking an elderly man. Davis says the victim was treated at the scene for his injuries and was later taken to a medical facility for further evaluation.

It was not the first time Salgado has seen the inside of a jail cell. Last week he was arrested for growing marijuana in his backyard.
