Crews are still working as quickly as possible in this heat to restore power to tens of thousands of homes and businesses in northwestern Louisiana, after a confirmed EF-1 tornado within a strong storm system hit transmission and distributions stations last Thursday. State Police are investigating an officer-involved fatal shooting Sunday morning in Pineville. The yet-unnamed man was shot by Alexandria cops. He died as a result. No police were injured. LSP investigates all officer-involved shootings.
