Louisiana State Police arrest a man in New Orleans after he allegedly aggressively brandished a sword towards another man during an argument. The incident happened Saturday and Troopers have charged 42-year-old Travis Fisher with aggravated assault. When troopers arrived on the scene, they witnessed the suspect waving a sword in an aggressive manner.

Four LSU stars make first-team All-SEC as the Purple and Gold head into the College Football playoffs. A crash in St. Landry Parish Saturday claims the lives of two women from Opelousas. State Police now have a man in custody after the driver fled the scene. State Trooper Thomas Gossen says a car mirror left at the scene was evidence enough to develop a suspect.
