A California doctor has been indicted on felony charges for allegedly trafficking abortion pills into Louisiana. Coeytaux is also facing a lawsuit from a Texas man who alleges he illegally provided his girlfriend with abortion pills. Coeytaux has not responded to the accusations made against him.

Authorities are looking for a 27-year-old New Iberia woman who fled the Iberia Parish courthouse on Monday as she was about to be sentenced on an aggravated battery charge.
