The Louisiana Coastal Protection and Restoration Authority cut the ribbon on the Lake Borgne Marsh Creation project in Saint Bernard Parish. The state this is the largest marsh creation effort by acreage, restoring 31-hundred acres of marsh along the lake’s sough shore, reinforcing the nearby Hurricane and Storm Risk Reduction System.
