The State Fire Marshal’s Office says a mobile home fire on Thanksgiving Day killed two people, including a four-year-old girl in Red River Parish. Officials say a 59-year-old man also lost his life, while a 21-year-old resident was able to escape. A cause of the fire is unknown and investigators are also not sure if the home was equipped with a working smoke alarm.

With the new closed party primaries just months away, the Louisiana Secretary of State’s office has put out a series of videos to educate voters of the changes. Andrew Greenstein reports.
