The Louisiana Department of Health says the state will begin funding food stamp dollars to the EBT cards of SNAP recipients starting tomorrow. During this first week, SNAP-eligible households will receive 25-percent of their benefit, and then seven days later they’ll get another 25-percent and so on. The state is NOT providing food assistance to able-bodied adults, impacting 53-thousand people.
