A Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Deputy was involved in a fatal crash this morning while apparently responding to a burglary in progress. State Police Trooper Thomas Gossen says 31-year-old Jessie Blanchard of Iowa was hit by deputy’s vehicle on LA Highway 3020 and died from his injuries…
