A federal judge rules conditions at the David Wade Correctional Center in Claiborne Parish are so severe they violate the constitutional rights of inmates being held in solitary confinement. Melanie Bray brought suit against Wade Center on behalf of people held there. The Louisiana Department of Children and Family Services celebrates National Adoption Day with its first in person celebration since the height of the pandemic.
