The state posted the slowest gross domestic product growth in the nation in 2017 at minus-point-two-percent. It’s the second straight year Louisiana had a decline in the real G-D-P. Lousiaina’s G-D-P in the fourth quarter of 2017 was two-point-two-percent, so Scott hopefully that’s a sign of good things to come.
The Breaux Bridge Crawfish Festival is expecting 30 to 35 thousand people to attend this weekend’s massive festival just outside Lafayette. Festival Spokesperson Angelique Bernard says an unbelievable amount of mudbugs will be consumed over the three days.

Good news for Anglers as the feds have given Louisiana control of Red Snapper fishing in state and federal waters for the 2018 and 2019 seasons. Don Molino has more.
