The Louisiana Workforce Commission says its website is down and the state agency hopes the site will be operational by noon tomorrow. L-W-C Secretary Ava Dejoe says the site had to be taken down so that the I-T staff can program the site for new federal stimulus payments as part of the President’s American Rescue Plan.
In a letter to staff, Louisiana Attorney General Jeff Landry said anyone engaging in sexual harassment would lose their job. This comes after one of his top aides, Pat Magee, resigned following complaints of sexual harassment.
