A large wildfire in Beauregard Parish in southwest Louisiana has prompted evacuations. A poll of 800 likely voters in Louisiana finds 36 percent support Republican Jeff Landry in the governor’s race. Finishing second, Democrat Shawn Wilson at 26-percent. Prominent civil rights attorney Ben Crump is calling for the U-S Justice Department to pursue civil rights charges against the officers involved in the police custody death of Ronald Greene in 2019, along a rural highway in Union Parish.
