Louisiana’s Avery Island in Iberia Parish has been added to the National Register of Historic Places. Avery Island is where Tabasco pepper sauce is made and the island is home to over 100-thousand birds and prehistoric archaeological sites.

The Sabine Parish Sheriff’s office is awaiting on the Hancock Sheriff’s office to extradite 23-year-old Darrell Williams Junior back to Sabine. He’s the main suspect in the murder of 23-year-old Lynnquithis January of Many back in June. Joe Dewil with the Sabine Sheriff’s office says Williams was arrested in Mississippi on drug and gun charges…
