Monroe Police Chief Vic Zordan says they are offering a five-thousand dollar reward for information leading to the arrest of the shooter.

Jamica is being battered by Hurricane Melissa, a Category five storm, with 160 mile per hour winds. To put Melissa’s strength in perspective, when Hurricane Katrina made landfall in Louisiana 20 years ago, its winds were 125 miles an hour, making it a Category Three storm. As such, by the time Melissa passes, the damage will be mind-boggling. Retired Army General Lt. Russell Honore says it could take many years for Jamaica to recover.

The Saints are making a change at quarterback. The team announced that rookie Tyler Shough will get the start this Sunday. Shough replaced an ineffective Spencer Rattler in last Sunday’s loss to Tampa Bay. Shough threw for 128 yards and an interception against the Bucs. Rattler was 1-and-13 as the Saints starting QB.
