It’ll likely be an awkward few months in New Orleans as the fans made it known they were not happy with the way Anthony Davis handled his trade demand situation. Despite taking the court to loud booing, the Brow still put up 32 points in just 25 minutes of action in the surprising 122-117 win over the Timberwolves. The two win streak has pushed the Pels to ninth in the lottery.

ULM played well last night, knocking off Georgia Southern 99-79 thanks to a 49 point second half courtesy of an absolutely ridiculous 38 point game from guard Daishon Smith who added 6 bounds and 6 assists as well.

Not too bad for the other UL school either, as the Ragin Cajuns took down the Georgia State Panthers 76-72. Lafayette was led by a 23 point contribution by forward Jakeenan Gant.

More details have become available in the incident involving Saints lineman David Onyemata, who could be facing some penalties from the league after police say the defensive tackle’s apartment was found to have some pot, cannabis oil, a few edibles, and hemp power. Jefferson Parish Sherriff Joe Lopinto says the search was triggered by a seizure of a package headed to Onyemata’s residence.
