A Harvard Medical School and University of California study find one in five employees in America say they face a hostile work environment. UNO Business Professor Mark Rosa says t this is a surprising statistic for sexual harassment and bullying, given the increase in awareness over these issues.

The Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office has arrested two people in connection to the murder of Dustin Hammons of Houston who was found in a field on August 2nd. Sheriff Tony Mancuso says this is part of a bigger investigation involving additional suspects police are dealing with in Texas.

A Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries agent who was shot in the line of duty in Morehouse Parish has returned to work. 25-year-old Tyler Wheeler of Monroe was shot four times while conducting a traffic stop in January. 31-year-old Amethyst Baird and 34-year-old Jeremy Gullette have been charged in the shooting and are awaiting trial. Today was Wheeler’s first day back on patrol duties.
