A second person has been arrested in a shooting in Evangeline Parish that injured a deputy and resulted in the death of a burglary suspect. Trooper Scott Moreau says the deputy is in stable condition…

Moreau says 27-year-old Dejuan Guillory of Mamou was fatally shot and 21-year-old Dequince Brown of Chruch Point was charged with attempted first degree murder of a police officer. Authorities say Brown was with Guillory during the incident.
