According to a statement from Louisiana State Police, 25-year-old Mayor Tyrin Truong was arrested for transactions involving proceeds from drug offenses, soliciting prostitutes, and unauthorized use of a moveable. Authorities say profits from those drug sales were allegedly used to purchase firearms, some given to people who are legally prohibited from possessing them.
