A former tight end on LSU’s 2003 national championship team has been sentenced to five decades in prison for his involvement in a 2011 truck stop shooting in Port Allen. 32-year-old Demetri Robinson pleaded guilty to three counts of attempted second degree murder, one day before his trial was scheduled to begin.
