Louisiana’s gubernatorial candidates have to disclose how much they raised last year by February 18th. It’s expected Senator David Vitter will report the most at around four-million dollars. Today Governor Bobby Jindal announced Metalplate Galvanizing will make a $9.7 million dollar capital investment to develop a plant in Jennings. The facility is expected to span 50,000 square feet and create 104 new direct jobs with an average annual salary of $46,300 plus benefits.
