Louisiana Tech’s 2015-16 men’s basketball schedule features 17 home games, the most ever played inside Thomas Assembly Center during a regular season. The schedule also features non-conference road games against Ole Miss and Ohio State. The matchup against the Buckeyes will be a rematch of the 1986 NIT Final Four.

The season did not get off to a good start for the Saints with a loss to Arizona and there’s some in Who Dat nation who wonder if the Black and Gold are headed for another losing season. But Quarterback Drew Brees expects big things from this year’s team..

The Saints offense could get a lift this weekend if running back CJ Spiller returns. The Black & Gold face Tampa Bay Sunday at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome.

The New Orleans Pelicans have re-signed restricted free agent guard Norris Cole. Cole came to the Pelicans in February from Miami as part of a three way trade that involved Phoenix. In 28 games with the Pels last season, Cole averaged nearly 10 points and over three assists per game. Terms of the deal were not released.
