LSU basketball returns to the Maravaich Center tonight as the Fighting Tigers host Southeastern Louisiana to begin year two of the Will Wade era. The 23rd ranked Bayou Bengals enter the season ranked in the Top 25 for the first time since the 2015-16 season.

Louisiana Tech begins its 92nd season of basketball at Witchita State. The Bulldogs went just 1-and-10 in true road games last season.

ULM is also on the road as the Warhawks visit Jackson State, while UL-Lafayette will host the Virgin Islands at the Cajundome for a 7:15 tip. The Cajuns won 27 games last season and three starters return, JaKeenan Gant, Malik Marquetti and Marcus Stroman.

The Pelicans are back from a five-game road trip that saw them fail to win a game away from home. New Orleans has a six-game losing streak after losing to Oklahoma City 122 to 116 last night. New Orleans hosts Chicago tomorrow.
