A recent report by the Center for Public Integrity says Louisiana gets an F in a look at states on transparency and accountability. States were graded on things like access to public information, ethics enforcement and government accountability. Overall Louisiana ranked 41st in the CPI State Integrity Investigation.
The US 5th Circuit Court of Appeals has ruled Louisiana can keep the final Angola 3 inmate in jail and try him again in the 1972 killing of a prison guard. This would be the third time Albert Woodfox would have to face trial as the other two convictions were thrown out on technicalities. Legal analyst Tim Meche says lawyers of Albert Woodfox and those who believe he is innocent, have been very successful in getting the public and the media on their side…:

CBS Sports reported Tuesday that the LSU/Alabama game in prime-time this past Saturday was the highest-rated and most-watched college football game so far in the 2015. Nielsen reports that 11.2 million people tuned in to view Bama’s 30-16 victory over the Tigers.
