Governor John Bel Edwards is now requesting four billion dollars in federal flood aid. That’s an increase from a previous request of 2-point-8 billion dollars. Edwards made the request in a letter to President Barack Obama.

A dump truck with three people inside ended up carerning over a guardrail and into water on Interstate 55 this morning. All three people survived the crash.
