The Louisiana survey from the LSU has found 50-percent of respondents believe the state is headed in the wrong direction, a 10-percent increase over last year. The poll of 850 residents also found 60-percent believe elected officials should work with other elected officials they disagree with rather than standing up just for their own positions. The man convicted in the road rage shooting death of former NFL player Joe McKnight was sentenced to 30 years in prison today. 56-year-old Ronald Gasser was facing 40 years for his manslaughter conviction. Legal Analyst Tim Meche says the publicity around the case led to a longer sentence…
