The East Baton Rouge Coroner has been able to confirm that the body found in Iberville Parish this week is the pregnant missing teacher from Baton Rouge. 40-year-old Lyntell Washington was reported missing last Thursday. Authorities believes the assistant principal where Washington worked has something to do with her disappearance.

Baseball Coach Paul Mainieri is staying at LSU after reportedly speaking with Texas about its head coaching vacancy. It’s been reported Mainieri, who just completed his 10th season as the Tigers skippper, will receive a bump in pay after meeting with LSU athletic director Joe Alleva.
