Governor John Bel Edwards has created the Restore Louisiana Task Force to oversee flood recovery. CEO of Lamar Advertising Sean Reilly is one of 21 members on the panel and says the task force will push for extra federal aid to help flood victims because the majority didn’t have flood insurance. He hopes we learned lessons after Hurricanes Katrina and Rita when it comes to rebuilding homes.

LSU Football Coach Les Miles is keeping things quiet on who will start as quarterback this Saturday as the tigers take on Mississippi State but is hinting it will be Danny Etling. Avoyelles Parish authorities are searching for a Bordelonville man after the bodies of his grandparents were found in a barn near their property. 28-year-old Michael Mayeaux is a person of interest in the deaths of Hillman and Eloise Mayeaux. Michael Mayeaux is 5 foot 4, with brown hair and blue eyes and weighs 130 pounds. The Avoyelles Parish Sheriff’s Office is urging anyone with information on his whereabouts to call authorities.
