Governor Bobby Jindal’s trash talk about Donald Trump is making national headlines today. Jindal called the Real Estate guru’s campaign a carnival at the National Press Club. He said it would be a huge mistake if the Republican Party nominated for president a narcissist, egomaniac — and someone who Americans truly have no idea what he’d do if he made it to the White house…:

Trump piped back to Jindal on Twitter saying he only responds to people that register more than 1% in the polls.

A political action committee, called the Louisiana Water Coalition, released a television commercial reminding voters of David Vitter’s 2007 prostitution scandal. So far the matter has not been brought up at this point in the governor’s race. The commercial is 30 seconds long and says “We can do better than Vitter.”

With voting on the mind, Secretary of State Tom Schedler says you could be casting your ballot on an iPad instead of voting booth. He says the plan would be to lease the iPads which would cost the state 50-60 million dollars…:

The Rapides Parish Sheriff’s Office has arrested a 55-year-old man in Alexandria on human trafficking charges after receiving a complaint in reference to alleged child abuse. Spokesperson Lt. Tommy Carnline says evidence of human trafficking surfaced against Bobby Otis Augustine and he was booked on five counts of the horrific crime, as well as one count of trafficking of children for sexual purposes, one count of aggravated crimes against nature…:
