The popular hoverboards are banned on the campuses of LSU, UL-Lafayette, Nicholls and Southeastern. The self balancing, 2 wheeled motorized scooter has been blowing up in some cases while charging, and riders have been known to fall off hoverboards and break bones or get concussions.
