Today state officials announced a newly formed software company will be relocating to New Orleans. Michelle Southern reports this is huge jobs news:

Tomorrow, the Governor will begin traveling with Ag Commissioner Mike Strain on a listening tour with farmers across Louisiana to hear their concerns. They will begin in Mooringsport and Bastrop tomorrow before visiting other towns Wednesday and Thursday.
Expectations of a bumper pecan crop in Louisiana this year have been lowered due to unfavorable weather, but that shouldn’t affect your pies for the holidays. LSU Athletics Director Joe Alleva says the elimination of tax break in the GOP tax reform bills could be disastrous for big-time collegiate athletics.
