Secretary of State Tom Schedler is unhappy with the Obama administration for placing all 50 states’ election systems into a designation of “critical infrastructure” because of concerns foreign countries could hack into the voting process. Schedler looks at this as federal intrusion and says it’s extremely difficult to manipulate votes, because each state uses a different method…

Schedler has asked President-elect Donald Trump to rescind the designation.

Pictures surfaced today of Governor John Bel Edwards and First Lady Donna Edwards meeting with Pope Francis at the Vatican. In one of the pics, it appears they have paused to pray. The governor traveled to Italy this week for a forum on techniques to combat human trafficking.
