Sad news out of Grambling as Doris Robinson, the wife of legendary football coach Eddie Robinson, has passed away. Eric Gill reports…:

The Baton Rouge Police Department says a 19-year-old college bound student was killed in a head on crash last night on Scenic Highway. They say 19-year-old Tashadow Gray was hit head on when a vehicle driven by 30-yaer-old Tnaia Burnette swerved into her lane. Gray was pronounced dead on the scene. Cops believe Burnette was drinking and charges could be coming.

State Police say a woman from Grant Parish died when she crashed into a tree after investigators believe she’d already been involved in two hit and run crashes. Master Trooper Brooks David says 35-year-old Angela Brown of Pollock side swiped a vehicle in Iberia Parish, then when she tried to flee that’s when she crashed. He says she died at the scene and the investigation is ongoing…:

He says they believe Brown was involved in a hit and run crash in St. Martin Parish just prior to the fatal crash.

Kids are getting 12% of their daily calories from fast food accoring to a study by the National Center for Health Statistics. Professor with the LSU Health Sciences Center, Dr. Melinda Sothern, says with this research, she hopes to try to better understand the marketing associated with fast food because unhealthy food advertising is often targeted at teens and try to make healthy options less expensive:
